Questions and answers

Common questions about customer calls.

Do customers know it's an AI?

Yes. Customer calls and API calls always open by saying they're from an AI assistant, including custom opening lines, and it never claims to be human.

What happens when someone asks not to be called?

Their number goes on the do-not-call list right away, and no future call to it is placed. For apps that call for many businesses, opt-outs are kept per business.

Can it change appointments?

No. It relays the details and records the answer, including a request to reschedule and the times that work. It doesn't change, cancel or create appointments.

How do I connect my app?

Create an API key under Settings in the app, then send POST /api/v1/calls with the customer, their time zone and what the call should achieve. Results arrive by signed webhook or by polling. AI agents can use the MCP endpoint with the same key.
